PLAY RETRO 94 : Image Comics Retro Video Games

The Image Comics games of the mid to late 90s and the early 2000s gave us "SPAWN: In the Demon’s Hand" for Dreamcast and Arcade: a hard to look at and control, arena-based shooter set in the SPAWN universe, with players picking their favorite characters and battling against hordes of supernatural enemies in dark, gothic environments. "WILD C.A.T.S" for the SNES, a competent side-scrolling shooter/beat 'em up, played as the titular superhero team going up against the Daemonite forces. Read the book for full understanding. "DANGER GIRL" for the PlayStation combined elements of third-person action and adventure, allowing players to step into the shoes of the all-female secret agent team in a globe-trotting spy thriller. Lastly, "Scud: The Disposable Assassin" for the Saturn, a side-scrolling action-platformer, captured the quirky and bizarre escapades of an assassin robot in a world filled with oddball enemies and challenges.
