His love tells me, “here is MY heart, you can have it. He trusts that we will protect it and not stomp on it, even though He made Himself vulnerable to stomp regardless. Love exists but cannot sing unless it is reciprocated. Today, we discover that love is very different than what Tina Turner told us. Love is not a second hand emotion. God is never Willy-nilly about His love. God chose to love us even while we were still sinners and rebellious. He wants love to be complete in us - to sing over us! That requires our response to the Love of God. The fruit of love is obedience. To be a Christian means that we too must learn the same sacrificial love that Jesus demonstrated upon that cross. For us to get to the empty tomb, today we must go through the cross, where the suffering Savior sacrificed everything for our salvation. Come and hear the word of the Lord today.
