Credible Witness Matthew 5:13-16, 1 Peter 2:11-12
Salt has a purpose in our body, and even more in the body of Christ, the church. In the sermon on the Mount, Jesus gives the follower, the disciple of Christ a purpose. He called us to be the salt of the earth & the light of the world. It is a calling of how we are to conduct our lives in this world; distinctively different from the rest of the world. Peter further reminds us that how we live matters, because people are watching our lives. Jesus calls to us to reflect His Holy Character and Nature in this world to draw those lost to the One who is the Light. Join and listen today as we discover the principles that Jesus was teaching in His sermon! It gives us purpose and calls us to point people to Jesus with our Christ-like reflection in our character.
