What You Need to Know to Succeed at Miss Teen Globe with Chloe Gaffney
•
Chloe bested more than 30 other competitors at Miss Teen Globe to walk away with the crown. Gaffney is relatively new to the industry of pageantry, which causes her advice to come from a very different angle. Below are the questions that we asked her: How did you mentally prepare to compete with girls from all over the world? How did you pack for the international competition? What item under $20 was a must have for you while at the pageant? You met with a panel of judges and were asked questions based on your submitted profile. How did you decide on what to include in your profile/bio? How did you prepare for interview? How did you connect with the judges during interview? You also had to give a one minute speech. What was your topic? What tips would you give to girls in preparing for their speech? You also competed in a photographic round where you did a photo shoot with a photographer. What were the judges looking for during this round and how can one best prepare ahead of time? You chose to compete in the optional talent round. You submitted a video of your talent (singing) beforehand and the judges selected the top 4 girls from each age category to perform on stage in Paris for final the judging. Do you feel there is a certain type of talent that scores better? (singing, dancing, etc.) Do you feel that it is more about talent or more about entertainment value? There is also an optional Publicity category where the girls prepare a portfolio of all the appearances they make in the run up to the Grand Finals. How do you recommend girls go about getting appearances?Tell us about Fit Camp (fun session with the girls working individually and in teams in physical challenges). What types of challenges do you take part in and how can one prepare ahead of time to be successful?
What is the best advice you can give to all of the girls out there hoping to win the crown?
