Grief to Belief and Consciously Living with Cathleen Elle

Season 1, Ep. 9

Cathleen Elle, author of her newest book: Shattered Together

She shares her story, from grief to belief… When her son, Logan, died by suicide, she describes her heartache. In her life she was showing up for others around her, sharing her story, talking to parents and people who were struggling… yet, her heart was tight, she describes how she felt like she was sinking in quicksand. She appeared successful “on the outside” she had yet to heal the trauma of her soul.  The patterns of her childhood, her youth, her relationships, and successful career … were still wrapped up in her shame and blame… she says: I was just existing.

Today, after taking care of her mind, body and soul and now, making decisions from her heart (that may not have made practical sense at the time) she is sharing her Grief Prescription:

  1. Be. Be in the Moment.
  2. Breathe
  3. Believe. Believe you are not alone.

Cathleen is urging us: know that we have a choice to consciously live. To move through life consciously rather than on autopilot.

Are you living on autopilot most days?

Please join our conversation about her book: part memoir, part guide and truly inspiring. Cathleen has the strength to, not only share her journey of healing and her encouragement with sincere compassion, she reminds us to step into the pain we have, seek healing rather than simply expect to “get over it!” Her self-awareness will empower you with greater grace, compassion, and love for people around us as well as forgive ourselves so we can truly live and love.
