And Juskow for All
The Background Check on the Background Check
•
Hi all. On today's show we travel to Washington Square Park, to Union Square Park to Gramercy Park and to Madison Park, but oddly not Central Park, or for that matter, Central Perk. Hey OOOO! Anyhoo, this week, my new job did a background check on me, so I did a background check on the background check people. The results should be quite interesting. The Ghostbusters, Afterlife review - PU, and remember, that's coming from the one guy that thoroughly enjoyed Coming to America 2. Also, a show and another awesome Monday Night - the only kind you can find here on Juskow in the City. 😉

14. Wicked For Bad
45:05||Season 1, Ep. 14The legendary Heather Graham Wednesday before Thanksgiving party was back on and boy was it a treat. A special guest showed up that many folks will be extremely excited about. Then "Wicked for Good" was pretty darn awful and of course, what was going to happen when I got my stiches out and saw the doctor that tried to set me up with another patient. All that and more today on the penultimate year end episode of And Juskow For All. Happy Holidays everyone!
13. The Girl Faster than Me
39:24||Season 1, Ep. 13Whilst running cross-country in High School, I let a girl beat me because I'm a gentlemen -- is what I've been telling everyone for 50 years but damnit -- she was like an Olympic champion. It wasn't fair! I Choose Not to Race! That and my mean sister and another classic Jiffy Lube story where if they had an HR Department, I'd probably have to make a visit. Classic. Hope you all had a nice holiday! 😀
Los Angeles and Rain Do Not Mix
55:43|Well this is classic. After a big vacation plan, everything was cancelled thanks to -- Rain? But yeah, when it rains in L.A. in November, it's not as sexy as Guns & Roses makes it out to be. And then the vacation just got worse, but you know what that means for this show -- a little thing called Podcast Gold.
11. The Garage Mechanic Gastronomist
59:24||Season 1, Ep. 11On tonight's episode we go to the all you can eat seafood buffet, right by my house. 8 lobsters later I kind of got sick but it was worth it. The most important thing of course was to tell the garage mechanic in New Jersey who told me about it in the first place. I have no idea why that was so important, but, it was. Also, another classroom fiasco with a twist and watching the World Series with the Roast Master.
10. New York City Election Day 2025 - This Ought to be Good
56:11||Season 1, Ep. 10The world is watching. As of putting this podcast together, I have no idea who the winner is but I voted this past week and then got accosted by some teenagers at the high school. BUT, it's half my fault because I went at 2:45 to vote like an idiot when they're all getting out. Also, i went out every night this week to make up for my being sick the last few weeks. That includes my jaunt to the West Side Comedy Club which was the worst comedy club I've ever been too -- of course that being said - please come see me perform there on November 26th. 😅 What a plug!!! See, now that's comedy! You guys get it.
9. The Romantic Comedy Horror Show
55:06||Season 1, Ep. 9This week a student gets triggered from the movie (get ready) - 1985's The Sure Thing. Well, that about does it for me then, I'm outta here. Also, is it possible for people with dementia to come back using familiar songs and music. I test the theory this week. My own theory that is, not scientific -- of course, since I am a college professor, maybe it is scientific. You're welcome. Also, I purchase 4 magazines for $52. I mean, since I'm the last person to buy magazines, don't you think I deserve a discount. A classic storytelling podcast that will entertain and amaze.
8. High School Never Ends
38:12||Season 1, Ep. 8This week the big lecture at the University of Texas with the wrinkle of having a seasonal allergy or maybe something worse. My reputation at stake!! And when I say my reputation at stake -- there was nothing at stake. There is completely no stake involved. BUT, I do love drama. Meanwhile, my friend Lily, a student there, has boy troubles I have to help her through -- because THAT is what I do. Boys are awful (of course said in a Paul Lynde voice). Duh. Also, a new coffeeshop girl who immediately brought out the, "oh, my boyfriend has that same watch" classic. 😅
7. Pretty People Welcome
34:27||Season 1, Ep. 7The security in my building is quite strict. You have to send an email to the building management to let them know someone is coming over or staying overnight - UNLESS you're hot. Then they just apparently give you the key. It's hilarious. The King of Chaos makes a claim that that the machine's are indeed making sure he (I) stay the King of Chaos until they get sick of me i guess. A little Matrix/Terminator stuff going on in my life.
6. John Varvatos and Me
51:20||Season 1, Ep. 6This week I have my Devil Wears Prada moment as I stalk and meet John Varvatos as I'm wearing his jacket. I thought it was one of the coolest things ever but my friends don't seem to care -- so I got new friends. Yeah, that's right. Also, I know I keep advertising this one Jiffy Lube in New Jersey but it's incredible. They just let me keep my car there so I don't have to deal with the horrid UN Assembly in Manhattan which was a nightmare, as it is every year, to drive through. The street where I park my car was closed off as usual but I had a little talk with the cops -- yeah, you know what I'm talkin' about. 😅 Also, the final appearance at the Roastmaster's Broadway Show as he records for Netflix. A fun week to hear about but an annoyance for me, which, of course, always makes for a quality podcast. You're welcome. 😉
