And Juskow for All

"The Acupuncturist" (Starring Gene Hackman)

Season 4, Ep. 157

The week began innocently enough at Don't Tell Mamas where the tables were turned on your pal Dave Juskow, but then an old army injury flared up again as my back just stopped working I guess. Enter the Acupuncturist. A friend's wife who's obviously nutty with this old mysticism like The Force. BUT, I was desperate so I gave it a try and TRIED extremely hard to concentrate knowing full well, it may not work if you don't give it your all. Unfortunately, an hour before the Acupuncture I found out my garage in Manhattan was closing for good. It's like getting kicked out of your apartment. I dare anyone to feel relaxed after that so. . . .All we be explained on this week's episode. And Gene Hackman, of course. . . a murder mystery. EGGciting.

  • 22. All Out

    01:05:38||Season 1, Ep. 22
    This week one of the greatest actors of our time started following me on Instagram. I will tell you if you are a fan of this show - you'll know I'm not using that term lightly. This is HUGE. ALSO, finally was able to go see Sarah Silverman in the Broadway play of All Out and FINALLY meet the band Lawrence. They are awesome, Sarah and the cast (Heidi Gardner, Craig Robinson) were terrific - the show itself. PU.
  • 21. The Comedy Cellar Show Even Juskow Couldn't Ruin

    57:19||Season 1, Ep. 21
    A Groundhog day to remember as the show at the Comedy Cellar went even better than you could possibly imagine. I only wish you all could have been there to feel the magic. BUT, of course by the next day everyone had already forgotten so. . . -- Either way, what a night. Also, performing in someone's house by the fireplace as a warm up to the big night was key and the lovely folks you meet along the way brings us to this week's terrific podcast so I can truly regale you with the week's beauty. But don't worry, someone still gets called out for being an ass and coming late. It's like, people don't know me by this point. What the. . . 😜
  • 20. Having Fun with the Movie "Weapons"

    54:11||Season 1, Ep. 20
    I teach my Romantic Comedy class inside another classroom but now after the first half hour I make all the students walk out single file in the middle of the other class and run out with our arms stretched like in the movie Weapons. It's hilarious. And if you don't think that's hilarious - this podcast may not be for you. 😜 And speaking of not being for you, this week I talk up a hostess from Bangkok at a Thai restaurant and then she turns out to be our waitress but I thought they were two different people and THAT's where the fun begins - and the best part -- It wasn't my fault. That's a first. Also, I believe a bartender gave me an IPA when I specifically said, I CAN'T have an IPA and then -- well, you know what happened.
  • 19. This Podcast is Rated PG (Podcast Gold)

    51:15||Season 1, Ep. 19
    Hi everyone. What a great week of podcasting. And of course I'm talking about our new rating system - PG for Podcast Gold, which is EGGzactly what happened at Dave Attell's birthday dinner when, once again, your pal Dave Juskow was the only one not to get his dinner. At this point I almost want it to happen because it's podcasting hilarious. And the best part is always -- I keep going back. 😜 Stay Warm.
  • 18. The Verizon Vortex

    57:56||Season 1, Ep. 18
    Verizon goes out and causes chaos for the King of Chaos whilst in Newark, NJ - and believe me, you don't want to be without service in Newark, NJ.
  • 17. The New Jack Wild Project

    01:08:18||Season 1, Ep. 17
    Well, I'll just open with, you're welcome in advance as my research on the Bee Gees and the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack led to an amazing new project from the brilliant kid who stars in H.R. Pufnstuf. I mean. . . . -- also the nerve at the folks at the Mt. Fuji hibachi place, 45 minutes away when we got there four our 7:30 reservation, only to tell us the kitchen closes at 8:00. WHAT!? AND, apparently arriving at 6:00 to a Xmas Party was too late and everyone got mad. WHAT?! Again! Oh well -- all in a week's work. We're BACK!
  • 16. The Directionless Date

    01:07:56||Season 1, Ep. 16
    Happy New Year everyone. Great to be back. Let's begin with an awful date who has lived in Hoboken for 15 years yet doesn't know her way home. Then the awful birthday celebration that was blamed on me. Then the awful way I stepped over everyone running away from someone who fainted but I thought was dead (total George Costanza) and finally - another magical jiffy lube story. 😅
  • 15. THE 544TH EPISODE w/Dave Attell & Nick Griffin

    01:11:22||Season 1, Ep. 15
    LIVE from the Comedy Cellar podcast studios - it's the audio portion of Comedy Cellar Tuesdays with Dave Juskow. Twice a month I do a show from the Comedy Cellar Live on YouTube. On December 16, 2025 comedians Dave Attell & Sleepy Nick Griffin came by for a few laughs before we took Nick out for his birthday dinner. As usual, Nick was a half hour late BUT. . .who cares it was a blast. Towards the end we have a trivia game - can you guess the comic's book or joke? So, recorded live on December 16th at the Comedy Cellar, I hope you enjoy this audio rebroadcast. You can also watch on YouTube here: https://shorturl.at/jWEcWHappy New Year!
  • 14. Wicked For Bad

    45:05||Season 1, Ep. 14
    The legendary Heather Graham Wednesday before Thanksgiving party was back on and boy was it a treat. A special guest showed up that many folks will be extremely excited about. Then "Wicked for Good" was pretty darn awful and of course, what was going to happen when I got my stiches out and saw the doctor that tried to set me up with another patient. All that and more today on the penultimate year end episode of And Juskow For All. Happy Holidays everyone!
