In this edition of Motty Meets, John takes centre stage himself, we are lucky to go into the Motson home alongside talkSPORT's Sam Matterface, to look back on John's legendary career. A meeting of minds and of two commentary greats, separated by a generation but brought together through their love of the beautiful game.

Non-league Hereford were underdogs, trailing Newcastle United in a 1972 FA Cup third round replay, when Ronnie Radford smashed a 35-yard strike through the mud to take the tie into extra time.

This week on Motty Meets we have the pleasure of being joined by everyones favourite geordie Lawrie McMenemy! Lawrie's best known for serving time as Southampton manager, taking them to victory in the 1976 FA Cup Final over Manchester United.
