Motty Meets

In this edition of Motty Meets, John takes centre stage himself, we are lucky to go into the Motson home alongside talkSPORT's Sam Matterface, to look back on John's legendary career. A meeting of minds and of two commentary greats, separated by a generation but brought together through their love of the beautiful game.

On this edition of Motty Meets, John is joined by former Luton, Arsenal, Newcastle, England and legendary number nine Malcolm Macdonald, 'Supermac' with an impressive record scoring 266 goals during his career!

Motty is back again with another episode, this episode we are privileged to be joined by Nigel Clough to celebrate the life and times of his Father Brian Clough. It must run in the family as Nigel has had an impressive career of his own, now a successful Manager at Burton Albion F.C. We even have a listen back to that notorious interview when Brian locked horns with Motty!

Another instalment of Motty Meets for you, Motson is joined by a man who arguably scored the most iconic goal in the FA Cup, Ronnie Radford! Non-league Hereford were underdogs, trailing Newcastle United in a 1972 FA Cup third round replay, when Ronnie Radford smashed a 35-yard strike through the mud to take the tie into extra time.

This week on Motty Meets we have the pleasure of being joined by everyones favourite geordie Lawrie McMenemy! Lawrie's best known for serving time as Southampton manager, taking them to victory in the 1976 FA Cup Final over Manchester United.
