Following up on last Sunday's message about personal evangelism, we take a look at some sobering words from the New Testament about perhaps the most important thing we can do in terms of helping someone else come to faith in Jesus Christ. The right words are important; correct doctrine is important. But this one ingredient, or lack thereof, can make all the difference.

Mixed emotions arise after the election, but maintaining a Christian worldview and witness is crucial. Political outcomes do not dictate salvation; personal faith and evangelism are key. Christians are encouraged to love and unite despite differing views, guided by biblical teachings. The Bible is affirmed as the ultimate truth, and prayer for political leaders is essential. A call for revival and awakening urges Christians to support those who are lost.

In our look at the life of faith, we have examined receiving by faith and achieving by faith. Let's remember that everything God gives us: the promises, the Holy Spirit and His gifts, resources, talents, all of it, is for accomplishing the great commission. We interrupt our series on Faith Heroes to bring you an important message: God loves you! Sure, we know it, right? Few people have actually argued that they are not loved by God. But few people live daily with anything like a full awareness of just HOW God loves them, and how MUCH. Our very faith is irrevocably bound to our understanding of God's love, so let's spend some time getting a grip on that!

Many times we have heard it said that one of the biggest mistakes we can make is to seek God's hand rather than seek His face. We certainly need to guard against greed and selfishness, and we certainly need to be focused on the glory of God. There is a danger, though, of falling into the trap of believing that God does not delight in blessing us because He loves us. Let's take a look at one of the true heroes of the Old Testament, and see if we can learn a little about glory and blessing from the story of David and Goliath.

Tonight, Pastor Mike encourages believers to embrace the victory already won through Jesus Christ. They are called to share this victory in their lives and to recognize their identity as conquerors. Faith is essential for walking in this victory, and worry is seen as a barrier to trust in God. The power of God's word is highlighted as crucial for achieving victory, urging believers to meditate on it and celebrate the triumph secured by Jesus.

Pastor Mike highlights biblical teachings about being an overcomer and the importance of building life on a solid foundation in Christ. While challenges are inevitable, victory through faith is attainable. Prayer and praise are vital tools for overcoming difficulties, urging active participation in faith to stand strong and be a force for good.

When we talk about the importance of faith in our lives, we often focus on two things: RECEIVING by faith, and DOING by faith. And the great "hall of faith" in Hebrews 11 offers us examples of both of those things. But the word of God tells us, "the just shall LIVE by faith". Let's take a closer look at that, and at the tragic story of a faith hero who didn't do it.
