Over 100 cyclists have completed a gruelling 600 km cycle around Munster to raise funds and awareness for the Munster branch of Down Syndrome Ireland.The cyclists finished up on Sunday on St. Patrick's Hill in Cork, with sore legs, but a great sense of achievement and pride. Live 95’s Tara Byrne spoke to some of the cyclists during their stop in Limerick.Image via Tour De Munster.

Skateboarders from across Ireland descended upon Mount Kenneth Skate Park just across the road from us here at the station for the All-Ireland Skateboarding Championships over the weekend. The event first took place here in Limerick in 2010 and has since then grown into one of Ireland's biggest skateboarding events. There’s a spectacular show in the sky this week, with the Moon set to pass directly in front of the Sun.It will be visible on Wednesday, August 12th, across Ireland from around 6.10 pm, with the maximum eclipse coming just after 7 pm.
