Building Her Dream: How Shayla Burtin Helps Introverted Women Entrepreneurs Thrive

Ep. 152

Has your introverted nature ever got in the way of your dreams? If so, my friend, I have some good news.

In this episode, I'm joined by the brilliant Business Strategist, Podcaster, and Entrepreneur Shayla Burtin. Shayla is the founder of Building Her Dream, a media platform created specifically to (I'm sure this will blow you away) empower introverted women entrepreneurs and professionals worldwide. She is also the Editor-In-Chief of the Building Her Dream magazine and the host of a podcast with the same name.

For Shayla, 9 to 5s were an unpredictable, unreliable, and unrewarding space from where she couldn't wait to get out. She then decided to become an entrepreneur to find stability, but now she had another problem: as an introvert, she didn't enjoy putting herself out there.

Throughout this episode, you'll hear about Shayla's fascinating journey into entrepreneurship and the elements of her life that conspired to create Building Her Story. Shayla also talks about how it is to be an introverted entrepreneur, how introverts feel more comfortable marketing their businesses, how her media platform assists them in promoting their business in a way that's comfortable for them, and more.
