A Page A Day, "Fast is Fine, Accuracy is Final"
Season 1, Ep. 15
•
An excerpt from my Journal, March 1st 2024.
Taken from the pages of Jack Carr's book, following the adventures of an ex Navy Seal the words 'fast is fine, accuracy is final' haunts my moves.
In such a wonderful way, might I say. Do it right the first time, but also be incredibly clear about the path you choose.
Find your target, assert the path and dominate the course of action. Fast is fine, but your targeted accuracy of action and intention will make all the difference.

I wholeheartedly appreciate you, this community and our listening audience. This episode is a super helpful one for ownership of our own mistakes, reconciling that we can't control everything and understanding that the responsibility to turn up is something that is shared not only by those who surround us in the moment, but those who have been in the same position well before us. We're never alone and we're never as separated as we feel or may think we are. You will get through this. 17:38||Season 1, Ep. 25The Joy of Consequence, after watching my sister, her husband and their kids for the past few days it was fascinating to look at how they shared consequence and reward with their children. The idea of delayed gratification and achieving a set goal is something I'm continuously fascinated with because all too often in my industry the goal posts are continuously being shifted and increasingly hard to aim for. But if we can set ourselves a goal with a reward that is fathomable and a consequence that is unendurable we can start to see the path towards achievement as being paved by the joy of consequence.
