The Crusades were an epic confrontation between Christian Europe and the Islamic Empire that lasted hundreds of years. The lands of Islam were invaded by a marauding nation known as the Christian Franks. Chanting “God Wills It” they unleashed their bloodlust on the Ummah of Muhammad (peace be upon him) …
But Allah has promised to protect the Ummah of Muhammad from an external enemy, and so He raised a generation led by Nur al-Deen Zengi and Salah ud-Deen Ayyubi - great warriors who worshipped Allah alone and conducted themselves with justice and accountability. The army of Allah confronted the Franks in the battle of Hattin in 1187. The outcome of this clash would determine the fate of the region for generations to come …
