five…..and our twenty-second show of the 2024 –
’25 season……and joining us as always will be
World Curling Hall of Famers Kevin Martin and
Warren Hansen (both Martin and Hansen are
members of the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame,
Canadian Curling Hall of Fame and the World
Curling Hall of Fame) Before we get into today’s show there is

Show Down at the Saville Presented by
Volvo that is coming this April and May AND
YOU OUR LISTENER CAN REGISTER TO PLAY
The first event will be the World Open Triples
Championship, between April 4 – 6, then April 24 –
27 the World Open Stick Curling Championship and
it will be followed by the World Open U25 Mixed
Doubles. Anyone can enter to play in all of
these events. Then the big event that will
determine the first-ever World Junior Mixed
Doubles Champion that will go from May 6 –
11 all at the Saville so for more info and to

click on Saville Showdown in the menu

What’s Happening Around the Curling World?
The Brier is on in Kelowna and we
will bring you current with what is happening
there. We have a big announcement
about the World Junior Mixed Doubles and
Kevin will be telling us all about it. Announcement from Goldline last
week about its Pursuer brush foam we will
discuss . World Wheelchair championship is
on in Stevenston, Scotland and we will take a
look at what has happened so far Mailbag and What is Happening on Social
Media. We take a look at a couple of emails as
we have received quite a few this week

Matt Dunstone has had a heck of a year!
30:51|Matthew Dunstone (born June 25, 1995)[1], nicknamed "the Sheriff"[2], is a Canadian curler originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba. In 2026, he skipped his team to victory in the 2026 Montana's Brier, his first Canadian men's championship title. Nik Edin, 2026 World Curling Champion is In the House

He is the first and the only skip in World Curling Federation (WCF) history to win three Olympic medals – gold (2022), silver (2018), and bronze (2014). David Murdoch: the future of Canadian Curling, following a successful Olympics.
33:05|David Murdoch is a retired Scottish curler. As the Scotland skip, he and his former team of Ewan MacDonald, Warwick Smith, Euan Byers and Peter Smith are the 2006 and 2009 World Curling Champions. Representing Great Britain, he has been skip at three Winter Olympics, Torino 2006, finishing fourth, Vancouver 2010, finishing fifth and Sochi 2014, where he won an Olympic silver medal.
