Lizzy Abegg, Spell & The Gypsy Collective: Staying Ahead of The Trends

Season 1, Ep. 18
Listen if: You’re waiting for a sign to make a big life change.

In this episode, Jess and Stef sit down in Byron Bay with co-founder of Spell & The Gypsy Collective, Lizzy Abegg.

Lizzy shares the story of packing up her life in Sydney after heartbreak and joining forces with her sister, Isabella, in Byron Bay to create Spell. Lizzy chats to Jess and Stef about the early days of Spell and the thrill of selling handmade treasures at the local markets, to blowing up internationally and seeing some of the biggest names in Hollywood wear their designs.

The three talk everything from visual diaries and the place of social media in 2019, to why it’s important for brands to be thinking about sustainability, and they also make a surprising discovery about Lizzy’s digital life before Spell.
