DEAR LITTLE ME

202. You Must Find The Root Cause Of Trauma To Heal It

Season 6

Melissa was raised in a home where both her mother and father had endured deeply traumatic experiences. As her parents went through a divorce and a stepmother came on the scene, the trauma intensified. Amidst the chaos, nobody noticed that Melissa was getting deeper into a group of kids who were engaging in drug use. Over time, drugs became a surrogate for the love she wasn’t receiving. Melissa went on to create a successful life, but beneath the expensive lifestyle, Melissa felt profoundly lost. When Melissa finally reached out for help she uncovered her true passion...helping others. Remarkably, Melissa went on to establish The Center For Healing and a unique healing modality called Root Cause Therapy. Melissa has now guided many individuals on their journey to healing from trauma. You can find out more about Root-Cause Therapy and other trainings offered worldwide, including her FREE courses at https://www.thecentreforhealing.com/free-courses

Melissa is the Co-Founder of The Centre for Healing and author of the book The Natural High, created out of her own struggles and search for better solutions when it came to addictions and mental health. Since then, together with her partner, she has opened an outpatient clinic offering alternative solutions to addictions and mental health, with a focus on healing developmental trauma. Melissa is a mum to 5 year old Tommy and a fur baby Skye and lives in Melbourne, Australia.
