Robbie McGuire
After gaining a supporting cast appearance on CBBCs 'Horrible Histories' I pursued studies in Media, Film & Drama. Graduating in Drama & Performing Arts. I shared my knowledge as a historical advisor on small-scale film productions & scripted a WW2 Alt Fiction audio series. My YouTube channel, RM Military History, in the years following I co-created the' Fighting on Film' war movie podcast before starting the 'Home Front History' Pod with Andy and Chris this year.
Andy Chatterton
Andrew Chatterton is a Second World War historian and Public Relations professional. His role as Press Officer for the Coleshill Auxiliary Research Team (CART) led to his fascination with the secret layers of defense in place in case of an attempted German invasion during the Second World War. CART maintains the British Resistance Archive where the story of some of the civilian volunteers is kept, providing public recognition of the significant role they would have played in the event of an invasion. He is currently working on his second book.
Chris Kolonko
With nearly 20 years experience in researching, recording, and interpreting the remains of the wartime Home Front, Chris has focussed mainly on trying to better understand the role of the Regular and Territorial Armies and their role in defending the country during the Second World War. This research has focussed on Northern Command and aimed to gain a better understanding of the defenses and to learn more about their effectiveness and the planning that went into their construction.
