At the age of 15, Edmund Kemper killed both his grandparents to "see what it felt like." Upon release from prison, he drifted, picking up and releasing female hitchhikers. But he soon stopped letting them go, killing six college-age women in the Santa Cruz, California, area in the 1970s. Still not satisfied, Big Ed his killed his mother and her best friend.
