Deep Dive: It Ends With Us, Part 11 - Updates, JB Timeline Review, and the Importance of Calling Bluffs
After a quick review of a recently promoted podcast appearance by Justin Baldoni taped in November 2024, we dive back into the Timeline of Relevant Events PDF. New behind the scenes information and receipts regarding cast opinions on shooting the film, Colleen Hoover's BookCon event, dueling film edits and audience viewer scores, as well as a looming Contract of Engagement that may have never been signed by Blake Lively, all continue to fill in the gaps of a dysfunctional reality far more fascinating than any authored work.

238. Roasting the Broligarchy: Epstein Files Dive 3 - Lake Michigan, Models, Movies, Magic, and Virginia's Impact
01:27:57||Season 2, Ep. 238Part 2 of this two-part dive into the recent batch of released Epstein files kicks off by naming more of the men photographed in the Epstein files who seemingly enjoyed the spoils of supporting his network, from magician David Copperfield, to disgraced movie director Brett Ratner, to named co-conspirator, and infamous predator disguised as a model scout, Jean-Luc Brunel. With more released documentation of what victims were reporting over the years, and who could have taken action, the number of people who chose to look the other way is astounding. A startling FBI Tip from an alleged victim regarding Epstein and Trump's involvement in crimes against her at 13-years old on Lake Michigan takes us on a historical dive into forced business connections with that area that span decades. Several victim statements and allegations are reviewed, and throughout, we see the impact of Virginia Giuffre's bravery to pursue legal action against Ghislaine Maxwell and speak publicly. 237. Roasting the Broligarchy: Epstein Files Dive 2 - Camp Interlocken, Banks, and Co-conspirators
01:20:52||Season 2, Ep. 237Part 1 of this two-part dive into the recent batch of released Epstein files begins with a 2020 email between prosecutors about seeing Trump's name on flight logs. From there, we delve into the banking world and learn more about key players like James Edward "Jes" Staley, a man accused of enabling suspicious financial activity, and review some of his predatory and intimate email exchanges with Epstein. Then, we meet one of Epstein's ten co-conspirators (only three of whom have been named) Ohio billionaire Les Wexner, and hear survivor Maria Farmer's statements that shed more light on the levels of his involvement. Lastly, a look at the legal filing involving allegations of a 13-year old victim who attended Michigan's Camp Interlocken in 1994, stating Epstein made contact with her as a former camper turned benefactor before introducing her to Trump at Mar-a-Lago as a "good one". Part 1 closes with documented comments from Mark Epstein to the FBI about his belief concerning his brother's death. BONUS: a rant about how the inequities of our current economic structure and tax code facilitate a "predator and prey" class system All opinions are personal and not representative of any outside company, person, or agenda. 236. Roasting the Broligarchy: Epstein Games, A Nuclear Mystery, and the Ugly Truth in Vanity Fair
01:32:16||Season 2, Ep. 236An ironic fixation on America's upcoming 250th celebration of independence from an oppressive monarchy that overtaxed its people has led to the announcement of various projects like, "The Patriot Games", and yes, it's similar to The Hunger Games but without the style or literacy. Also, discussing the scandalously accurate Vanity Fair article and photos, new burn book-esque plaques lining a cheaply gilded White House walkway, military funds getting rebranded "Warrior Dividends", and how tariffs continue to get more undeserved hype than a nepo baby. Plus, updates on ICE's continued illegal actions, a haunting nuclear mystery, retaliation from the CDC, the progression of censorship and state-run media, and a dedication to destroying the planet in ignorant bliss. 235. Recap/Roast: RHOBH S15E2, Bearing It All
01:17:07||Season 2, Ep. 235This episode continues to operate upon the belief that the audience hasn't yet heard enough about the antics of Kyle and Dorit's husbands and the trials and tribulations the women face as a consequence of choosing those raggedy men. In true pick-me fashion, the forlorn women also allow the mere discussion of their sub-par men to divide them further and serve as fodder for infighting. We meet the new housewife, Amanda Frances, and see that several women appear to dislike her from their first greeting. Throughout, Boz continues her mission to get Kyle to discuss Morgan, Sutton keeps supporting women who tear her down at every opportunity, and Erika provides more examples of why she's a horrible person and the perfect karmic spouse for the largest embezzler in California's history. Thankfully, Rachel Zoe tells us more about her life and keeps the show afloat and Jennifer Tilly throws a fun party, even if she seems to immediately regret it. Hermes bags and soda remain an uncredited pillar of the show. 234. Recap/Roast: RHOBH S16E1, Hot Girl Summer
01:06:13||Season 2, Ep. 234A new season starts off with the same stale storylines...vague details about Kyle's relationship confusion, Dorit's frustrations with PK, Erika's continued indifference to Tom's fate, his wake of devastation, and her ongoing legal troubles, and Boz's unexplained eagerness to be Dorit's bestie. The season will include two new housewives, with Rachel Zoe resurrecting her successful BravoTV career and starting strong by catching us up on her life, family, businesses, and the reasoning behind her recent separation. Fellow RH newbie, Amanda Frances, will make her debit in episode two. Throughout, remnants of the Fox Force Five clique seem to find pleasure in Sutton's misfortunes, bringing up the loss of Garcelle and Avi several times before Erika also body shames her. It wasn't a season premier that left a feeling of excitement or anticipation, quite the opposite, but in that way it was certainly memorable. After a long day+ of travel, the women gather for a picturesque dinner in Santorini where they savor the locale and cuisine while fighting about Cartier watches. Lisa being the only person to arrange for glam, coupled with her accusation that Angie copied her by buying a Cartier watch, the group agrees that Lisa is too fixated on her appearance and labels. The episode wraps with another dinner airing of grievances amidst a beautiful setting with Heather and Meredith arguing about the breakdown of their friendship over the unseen Britani/airplane debacle. BONUS: Holiday rom-com recommendations, learning about Cartier watches and airport stores, and an exciting rumor about Bronwyn at the reunion filming All opinions are personal and not representative of any outside company, person, or agenda. Also, how the Pentagon just agreed to give a record amount of $620M to a small company, the hilarity of accusing Senator Mark Kelly of sedition, the new anti-science CDC, and deportation news. 231. Recap: RHOSLC S6E12 First Amendment Rights and Wrongs
01:02:56||Season 2, Ep. 231As the episode gears up for Bronwyn's American citizenship celebration of a "Spill the Boston Tea Party", we get a tense scene between Whitney and Justin that delves into her fillings of resentment about the MLM debacle that wiped out Wild Rose Beauty. Also, Heather reflects on another daughter leaving for college, Bronwyn fulfills her charitable orders of Pride flags with her mother, and explains her regret about losing Whitney's trust to Tater Todd while she's dressed as an inflatable sloth. At the Tea Party, Meredith and Whitney go head to head again over what did or didn't happen on that mystery flight, and why, as allegations of drug and/or alcohol abuse fly amidst chilled caviar and drug tests. 230. Recap: RHOSLC S6E11 Ladies Who Lunch, The Sequel
56:37||Season 2, Ep. 230Mary hosts another fabulous lunch at Valter's in Salt Lake City, complete with red carpet and fighting fish. On the agenda is the ongoing quest to resolve the mid-air conflict between Meredith and Britani, despite Britani not being invited. Lisa and Meredith continue to alienate themselves from the group by presenting different recollections of what happened on the plane but they quickly realize the group won't be swayed and insists on an apology to Britani. Then the episode goes from traumatic situation to traumatic situation, Britani and her daughter Olivia in therapy, Bronwyn discussing the loneliness she feels knowing her daughter and mother will soon be moving out, and Heather showing the world a very disturbing mattress. By the end, we finally get to see Meredith summoning Britani to delver a quasi-apology and let's hope it puts the issue to bed, on a clean mattress.
