The gaming bubble 2020 to 2023

Ep. 122

The Gaming Industry had its “big boom” during COVID–people were locked in their homes and gaming was one of the ways for people to both get entertained and socialize with each other at the same time. But now that the world has gone back to normal, can the gaming industry really sustain this bubble?

In this episode of the GZ Chop Shop, we talk about how the gaming bubble is on the verge of bursting. With the price of games increasing, and the willingness of gamers to spend decreasing, the industry is now facing a 31% drop in revenues. We also go on and talk about how the new generation of gamers has influenced the majority of the industry’s current state, and how the environment we grow up in affects the kinds of games we play.

Tune in and listen to our theories and gaming experiences!
