#231 Ole Hill on Hypnosis, Goal Setting and Starting 2026 With Intention

Season 1, Ep. 231

Welcome to the first episode of the Good Humans Podcast for 2026.

I wanted to start this year with something powerful, practical, and a little different. That is why I invited Ole Hill, who is widely regarded as Australia’s leading hypnotist, onto the show.

In this episode, Ole and I dive into how hypnosis actually works, why so many of us struggle to follow through on our New Year’s resolutions, and how our subconscious mind plays a much bigger role in our behaviour than most people realise.

What makes this episode really special is that Ole guides us through a live hypnosis session during the conversation. This was designed to help you connect with your goals for 2026, let go of mental blocks, and set clear intentions for the year ahead. It is something you can come back to anytime you need a reset.

For me, this episode is about more than motivation. It is about creating real change by working with your mind rather than against it. If you are stepping into 2026 wanting more clarity, confidence, or alignment with your goals, this episode is a great place to start.

In this episode, we talk about:
  • What hypnosis really is and what it is not
  • Why New Year’s resolutions often fail
  • How the subconscious mind influences habits and decision making
  • The role of focus, suggestion, and awareness in personal growth
  • A live guided hypnosis session to support your 2026 goals
  • Starting the year with intention rather than pressure

A quick note before you listen

If you can, listen to this episode somewhere quiet, especially for the hypnosis section. Sitting or lying down comfortably and giving yourself permission to slow down will help you get the most out of it. - Please don't do the hypnosis while driving.

Thanks for being here and for kicking off 2026 with me. I hope this episode helps you feel clear, grounded, and excited for the year ahead.
