Putting the fun into fundraising

Season 1, Ep. 3

If you’ve ever wondered about how to raise money for charity then you’re in the right place!

In this episode, we speak to Neil Hailwood who is an absolute mastermind when it comes to fundraising. He talks us through some of the many ideas he has had to raise funds for charities such as Derian House and Inspire Youth Zone

Neil has a busy full time job, yet he always seems to find the time to go above and beyond for causes that he cares about.

He also talks to us about his son, Matthew, a child with special educational needs and the challenges that brings, along with the amazing support he gets from his whole family including wife Tracey and daughter Lauren who he often ropes in when planning and organising events.

He has raised money for charity in so many different ways including a virtual ‘Play your cards right’ event, the Santa Dash, ChorFest and many more raising thousands of pounds at each event.

Neil is such an inspiration and so dedicated to helping others and we’re sure you’ll be inspired by him - we certainly are.

  • 6. Becoming Your Best Self

    46:48
With this episode, we're back on the theme of self improvement , self empowerment and focusing on yourself. We'll be taking a look at a self development tool which is the series of Best Self Discovery Decks. The Discovery Decks are prompt cards that inspire connection, confidence and creativity. There are nine themes to choose from. Each of the nine decks contain 150 prompt cards which contain questions or prompts for you to answer, think about and reflect upon. Some of the packs are more challenging than others and we thought we'd live dangerously and draw some of the cards live during the episode and ask each other the questions! It was fun to do and prompted some rather interesting conversations!►Become a FREE SUBSCRIBER to GIVE SOCIAL on YouTubehttps://www.givesocial.co.uk/YouTube► SUBSCRIBE to the Podcast NOWhttps://www.givesocial.co.uk/podfollow----------------------------------------------------------------------------------► Our other links:Facebook ► https://www.facebook.com/GiveSocialTwitter   ► https://twitter.com/WeAreGiveSocialInstagram ► https://www.givesocial.co.uk/instaWeb     ► https://www.Givesocial.co.uk
