78 A Very British Quiz, with Hannah Woods

Season 5, Ep. 78

Joining Lucy and Jenny this week is writer and historian Hannah Woods, who you may remember not only for her outstanding performance on Mastermind but also for her incredible performance on Twitter when she faced the predictable nonsense leveled at women who dare to display themselves and their talent on national TV. This leads to a frank and important discussion about how change is long over due in the traditionally male, dominated world of quiz - Hannah also more than covered herself in glory in a quiz about British history, which isn't surprising, as she's written a book on it, which will be out ion 2022 and you can pre-order Rule, Nostalgia: A Backwards History of Britain now.

We also see the welcome return of listener quiz writer extraordinaire, Matt Sole, whose theme will not disappoint the nostalgics amoung us.
