Fear Thy Neighbor

In a charming apartment complex in the heart of Harlem, a charismatic new tenant arrives and quickly wins over the tight-knit community. But behind the easy smiles, something darker simmers. When his unwanted advances toward the woman living upstairs are firmly rejected, humiliation curdles into obsession. As tensions escalate, the once-warm building transforms into a pressure cooker of paranoia and hostility. Accusations fly, threats echo through thin apartment walls, and when the simmering anger finally boils over, it erupts in a violent confrontation that leaves the entire complex shattered.

Jarda, a local handyman with a strange past, lives rent-free in Hawaii thanks to the generosity of his longtime friend, Lois. But when Lois returns to the mainland for an extended stay, Jarda’s left alone in the home and his behavior becomes increasingly erratic.  What begins as a strange resistance to photographs ballons into flashes of bizarre paranoia directed towards both neighbors and tourists. Property lines are fiercely guarded; neighbors have their every move filmed, and allegations of KGB spies abound.  Things quickly escalate into an extreme and violent conflict, turning a once idyllic paradise into a living hell.

As the city of Flint, Michigan works to restore itself to its former glory, its residents look to improve their living conditions within it. It’s a great step up for couple Kim and Amber Perryman who are able to move their family from the rougher side of town to more spacious digs in a much nicer neighborhood. By their own admission, the Perrymans are a rambunctious lot, which quickly lands them on the wrong side of their new neighbors directly across the street- The Bretts. Minor irritants escalate to major ones, and the two families are increasingly at each other’s throats until dueling Memorial Day parties becomes the last straw and a horrific street battle turns fatal.

Noel, Ashley and their four children feel like they’ve struck gold when they move into a trailer park community in Wichita Falls, Texas. The homes are large and lovely, and best of all they hit it off immediately with neighbors Natasha, Martin and their two girls. But the new arrivals are only there a week before Noel is arrested and imprisoned over an outstanding gun charge. The two families get closer in his absence, but when Noel is released, Martin grows deeply suspicious of him – even believing he may be part of a gang. For his part, Noel heard rumors that Martin had eyes on Ashley while he was incarcerated. From that moment on the two men are constantly at each other’s throats, hurling threats and accusations until, one bloody day, those threats are realized in the worst way possible.

Kirby Staib and his parents have long made their home in the beautiful rural community of Wardsboro, Vermont. When the long vacant home beside them is finally bought by bachelor Kevin Parker, Kirby and his new neighbor become great friends as they bond over their mutual love of hunting and fishing. But things sour between them when Kevin forbids Kirby from parking his work vehicles on his land – something he’d been doing for years with no complaint. From then on the two men are at each other’s throats over everything from Kirby’s horse doing his business on Kevin’s property to accusations that Kevin shot up Kirby’s house while the family was away. Finally the two antagonists square off in a field and only one of them leaves alive.

For many decades, the beautiful countryside outside of Hagerstown Indiana has been home to now retired Vietnam vet Billy Wilson and his wife Mabel. The couple saddened by the departure of their longtime, quiet neighbors and become increasingly uneasy when a rowdy young couple: KC Simpson and his partner, Richael Southard move in. The Wilsons’ worst fears soon come true as the constant noise and commotion continue to disrupt the tranquility they once enjoyed. As animosity grows, the once friendly neighbors become bitter enemies and when pets find themselves in the cross fire, the feud escapes to it’s tragic end.
