  • Episode 63: Max Holloway Meltdown

    17:22
And that's exactly what I had, when Max Holloway did THAT at UFC 300! This episode just covers SOME of my thoughts on the epic 'BMF' battle between two of MMA's most beloved fighters in Max Holloway and Justin Gaethje, and you can hear ALL of my thoughts on ALL of the fights from UFC 300 over at the Combat Chronicles Patreon where the full episode is already uploaded for your listening pleasure! • Episode 62: Topuria smashes the crown off Volkanovski's head

    31:01
As per the title of this episode, Ilia Topuria showed that his run to a championship fight was no fluke and he really was as well put-together as he looked, overcoming a typically tricky Alexander Volkanovski to smash him into oblivion in the second round. As the new champion will Topuria spark the interest of fans by taking on all-comers, or will he chase uninteresting 'super' fights against the likes of Conor McGregor? I look into the fight that everyone is talking about right now as well as what the future may hold for both Topuria and the now dethroned Volkanovski, and if you want to hear my thoughts about the rest of UFC 298 please head on over to the Combat Chronicles Patreon!

  • Episode 58: Pereira vs. Prochazka

    34:36
To say I was excited about former UFC middleweight champ Alex Pereira facing off with former UFC light-heavyweight champ Jiri Prochazka would be an understatement, I was certain it wouldn't disappoint. And now that the shoot-out has taken place, I'm happy to say that it didn't, bar one thing that I'm sure anyone that has seen it will already have an opinion on! Well, in this episode you'll get to hear all of my opinions on the fight, from my takes on the technical details, to my thoughts on the division overall and the current standing of both men and what we might see from them in the future. To hear more of my thoughts on UFC 295 (including the big heavyweight clash between Tom Aspinall and Sergei Pavlovich) head on over to the Combat Chronicles Patreon where the full one-hour episode is available right now!
  • Episode 57: Is Fury vs. Usyk REALLY happening?

    12:58
It seems that we all got the news we were hoping for this past week when Tyson Fury versus. Oleksandr Usyk for ALL the marbles of heavyweight boxing was apparently signed and sealed. But what needs to happen before it gets delivered? My thoughts on how much we can take from this apparent GREAT news in this episode, and if you want to hear my thoughts about everything else that happened in boxing this past weekend (including the mega-fight between Canelo and Charlo!) head on over to the Combat Chronicles Patreon!
  • Episode 56: Superlek vs. Rodtang

    24:13
After a shaky fight week and a late-notice catch-weight agreement, we finally got to see Rodtang and Superlek face off in a ONE Championship ring and the fight absolutely delivered! A gore-fest with plenty of excitement, a knockdown, and a variety of superb technique on display, Superlek prevailed by decision, turning away the challenge of the iron-chinned fan favourite Rodtang. But some fans cried robbery after the fight, and some fans seem to think that despite Rodtang's best efforts he was barely in the fight at all. Are either true, or is the truth somewhere in the middle? On this episode, I look to find out!As always if you like this episode and want more content like it please do check out the Combat Chronicles Patreon!
