We're back: Introducing Phoebe!

Season 5, Ep. 0

Chickstory is back with a new look a new co-host but the same incredible stories about often overlooked women from history.

Meet Phoebe, my new co-host. Phoebe resides on Wadawurrung land and is your resident history detective and super sleuth (her parents also refer to her as a "sticky beak'') she is passionate about genealogy and discovered a love of researching families, their origins and finding skeletons in the closet (and coaxing them out). This is mostly due to her fascination with her own family history which is abundant with stories and mysteries from all over the world.

It took Phoebe a while to find her groove and work out what she wanted to do, but after an epiphany, while reading the newspaper in her early-20s, she realised that history "detectiving" was what she needed to do. So, she established Born & Bred Historical Research eight years ago to do just that. Born & Bred researches just about anything and everything you might imagine: family trees, family history, the history of your home, business or property, heir searches, oral history interviews, as well as being passionate about helping indigenous Australians with their genealogy. I'm thrilled to welcome Phoebe, and we can't wait to share many more stories of remarkable women with you!
