#11 Doing The Avoid-dance

Season 1, Ep. 11

Human Beings are masters at ‘avoiding at all costs’, that which they perceive to be painful, insurmountable, or negative. Unfortunately – be it in our personal realms or professionally, the cost of such behavior is very high, impacting both the one doing the ‘Avoid-dance’, and their families, friends, co-workers, employees, and the community at large!

In this episode, Steve and Taron do a deep dive into the Mind of Addiction. Far from being experts in addictions, nevertheless, their combined experience in mentoring and coaching many who have become compromised due to their addictions and avoidances has provided keen insights on how to replace avoidance with acceptance. We can learn how to pass through the storm and triumph, for as the saying goes ‘feeling is healing’.
