Die von Vincent Schier kuratierte Ausstellung fand zwischen dem 27.06. und 14.08. im Kunstverein Göttingen statt und beschäftigt sich ausgehend vom Kunst- und Kulturbetrieb kritisch mit Arbeitsbedingungen.In this episode, two of the six artistic positions from the group exhibition I DON'T WORK ON WEEKENDS! are presented. The exhibition, curated by Vincent Schier, took place between June 27 and August 14 at the Kunstverein Göttingen and critically examines working conditions based on the art and culture industry.

    In der 3. Episode von "Art & Education" spreche ich mit Ellen Martine Heuser über ihre Ausstellung “Not a civilzation, but you", die vom 29.4. - 12.06. im Kunstverein Göttingen zu sehen war. Die Künstlerin gibt einen Überblick über die einzelnen Arbeiten der Ausstellung und erzählt von ihrer Auseinandersetzung mit Skulptur, Körper und Sound. Außerdem sprechen wir über die Bedeutung Monumentalität und Verletzlichkeit für menschliche Zivilisationen und darüber, wie die Künstlerin beide Konzepte zusammenbringt.In the 3rd episode of "Art & Education" I talk to Ellen Martine Heuser about her exhibition "Not a civilzation, but you", which was on view at the Kunstverein Göttingen from April 29 - June 12. The artist gives an overview of the individual works in the exhibition and talks about her exploration of sculpture, body and sound. We also talk about the importance of monumentality and vulnerability for human civilizations and how the artist brings both concepts together.

Wir sprechen auch über emotionale Nachhaltigkeit im Kulturbetrieb und darüber, welche Rolle Kollaborationen bei Vincent's Herangehensweise als Kurator spielen. Außerdem tauschen wir uns darüber aus, wie vermittlerische und kuratorische Arbeitsweisen stärker verknüpft und zusammen gedacht werden können.In the second episode of Art & Education, I meet Vincent Schier, the curator of the Göttingen Kunstverein. He talks about what it was like to start this job in the middle of the Corona pandemic and he gives us an insight into the planning and organizational processes behind the 2022 program. We also talk about emotional sustainability in the cultural sector and what role collaborations play in Vincent's approach as a curator. We also exchange ideas on how mediating and curating can be more closely linked and thought together.
