Any Stupid Questions?
•
Ever feel like you missed something important when it comes to the news? A fact, a detail, or an event that it feels like everyone else knows about, and now you'd look like a moron if you asked someone to explain? Well, here's a podcast that will ask those questions so you do't have to.
Each week, Danielle Ward is joined by two comedians and an actual expert in something important, who will field the basic and/or obvious questions you somehow never got around to asking until now. It'll be like how a parent talk to a five year old, but with a bit more swearing and a whole lot more facts.
We kick off with an episode about the NHS, where the editor of Health Policy Insight Andy Cowper takes questions from Darren Harriott (Edinburgh Comedy Award newcomer nominee 2017) and Carrie Quinlan (John Finnemore's Souvenir Programme).
Danielle Ward is also the host and creator of the Radio Academy Award-winning podcast Do The Right Thing; the producer is Ed Morrish, who produced Danielle's Radio 4 panel show Dilemma, hosted by Sue Perkins.
Recordings are taking place on the 15th and 22nd November, with tickets available from tickettext.co.uk/ed-morrish/
