The posse begins their quest in grand Old Western tradition: with a hanging. Bullets begin to fly as a shady priest, a rough and tumble miner, a suave former outlaw, and an earnest hobo join vengeful Deputy Sheriff Ellie Bishop on the Canutillo Railroad Bridge. Our investigators actually begin to investigate the oddities they encounter as they ride down darker trails. The posse’s adventures take a turn towards the macabre as they discover a mysterious figure out in the desert and an abandoned cabin in the woods. A side quest takes them on an archaeological dig in the hopes of uncovering some history and earning loot along the way. The party's attempt at some R&R goes horribly awry as violence and nightmarish visions of cosmic horror follow them through the town of Las Cruces. As Johnny finally takes a bath, Ellie rests up, and the whole party attempts to drown their trauma in the bottom of a whisky glass, new acquaintances bring new threats and new information about the elusive Colin Brock. Will the posse uncover the source of their nightmares?
