A Little More Good
Lessons from Integrated Healer Dr. Eric Posen
Hey Friends,
We are very excited to share today's episode. This conversation was equal parts enlightening and inspiring, and was also loads of fun. We caught up with the one and only Dr. Eric Posen of the Integrative Naturopathic Medical Centre here in Vancouver where he has been practicing for the last 35 years. Eric has a gentle, compassionate, and holistic approach to his practice and brought that same energy to our conversation today. Eric has a unique approach to helping people become well, recognizing that everyone who sets foot in his office is on a journey of healing. He says, "Going to the doctor has always been an arduous affair. First there is the nagging symptom that just doesn’t go away—its presence a constant reminder that something is not quite right. Or perhaps you’ve already been given a diagnosis and tried a myriad of therapies geared to that particular problem, but nothing seems to work. To seek out help for a concern that is occurring in your body can be a trial. It can be frightening to feel that your body is betraying you and frustrating to find no cure." Thankfully Eric is there to journey with his patients, helping them restore balance, discover health, and even heal themselves.
This conversation is a great look into health, healing, holistic approaches to medicine and the practice of different modalities of healing. We are deeply appreciative of Eric, and his generosity of spirit. We know you are going to get a lot out of this conversation.
Enjoy!

The book also delves into the science behind running and how humans are biologically designed to run long distances. In the book McDougall discusses the idea that modern running shoes with thick soles and excessive support may actually be causing more harm than good, and that a more natural approach to running may lead to fewer injuries. McDougall also presents the argument that humans are evolved to be able to run for long distances, citing studies that show humans are the ultimate endurance athletes.Overall, "Born to Run" is a fascinating exploration of human evolution and the potential for human endurance, as well as a riveting adventure story that introduces readers to a unique and inspiring community of runners.Special Rebroadcast: Heal your anxiety with Dr. Russell Kennedy
