How to create healthy habits and communities with Matt Christopherson of Opscotch
Hey Friends,
Ever tried to dial in your fitness & nutrition but didn't know where to begin? Ever tried a new fitness routine but weren't sure if it was right for you? Yeah, us too!
We are thrilled to share today's episode! We sat down with Matt Christopherson of Opscotch. As a health and fitness focused person and the co-founder of Opscothch Matt and the Opscocth team help people Navigate, cultivate and optimize their health with a community.
Our conversation with Matt focuses on how important it is to get the data on our bio-makers in order to "plot ourselves" on our GPS. Many people have goals, and ideas of where they want to end up on their fitness and health journey, but so many of us don't know where we are staring from. With the tools that Matt and his crew at Opscotch provide, individuals can begin their journey with the full knowledge of how to best achieve their desired result.
Matt is also a man of many hats and talents, and is one hell of an athlete. Recently Matt used his athletic ability to do a little more good, and helped raise money for a friend who was battling cancer. The response was overwhelming, and prompted Matt to consider what else could be done. This thought led him to plan his next adventure and physical test to support his friends journey to beat Cancer and return to her healthy life. As a result Matt is running the first ever "Project 125" which is a 125km run from Vancouver to Whistler in September 2024. In this conversation Matt details the idea behind the run and teases some of what the journey will entail.
We were so thrilled to sit down with such an open-hearted, passionate, game changer of person. We know you will LOVE Matt and everything he stands for.
