Foul Language From The Offset (No Change There).What started off as a Top 10 In 10 quickly became a full podcast. The Fawkers discuss what their last meal would be, should they ever find themselves on death row. Not residing or holidaying in the USA, and being law abiding citizens however, this premise is highly unlikely. Dave comes preprepared with a menu, and after some confusion, Steve adapts his menu choices, and Barry claims not to be too interested in food. The usual shenanigans take place, we find out the reason for Steve's keyrings, and if we needed any more convincing, we discover just how darn low and dirty these Fawkers can be, even when discussing subject matter as inane as splayed (spatchcock) wood pigeon.As ever, the Fawkers' larger than life 'on mic' personas can make light of the most serious of matters. The Fawkers investigate the Creative aspect of AI, and question whether its capabilities for original thought could create movies, books, sculptures, and paintings that could one day be worth more than anything that a human has, or could create. The Fawkers also devise a plan to test the AI platforms on their understandings of human emotions and feelings, to see if they could struggle for their art like the great masters once did. The Fawkers start the show with a look at bullying in the playground and this brings them round to discussing culinary tricks when out at a restaurant or carvery. Ultimately the conversation descends into chaos as you would expect from this bunch, and before too long the only thing left on the menu is bugs and critters. The conversation takes a further comedic turn towards the end when the Fawkers' discuss the culling of animals due to the over production of methane, which is a gas.It can be confirmed that the secret of the carvery Yorkshire Pudding is revealed in this episode. What possible motives could surround the plot, and what level of complicity or indeed competency the assassin held. Delving further into the conspiratorial world, and exploring the possibility of mind control for the wider subject matter, the hosts continue into the realms of advocacy for free speech, and where the deterrent against such hateful atrocities could come from, when freedoms are restricted. All this, and more coupled with the usual irreverent styles of the Fawkers.As always there is strong language, and topics that some people may find sensitive discussed throughout.This Episode is dedicated to the memory of Ann Widdecombe (1947 – 2026) who fought for people to maintain the right to free speech, especially when that speech was something that she didn't agree with herself.
