Mental Health Awareness Week is a nationwide campaign that runs to share stories, awareness and discuss the impact of mental health in our lives. This year the theme is Community. Mental health is more than just a small part of our lives. Mental health heavily influences our quality of life. So it makes sense that mental health, just like physical health, needs to be taken care of and maintained. This week we are joined by two of our community officers!
It’s no secret that exams can cause a fair bit of stress for a lot of people. So now more than ever, it’s important that you take care of your wellbeing; get a good amount of sleep, eat well and drink plenty (of water). Loads of people feel stressed in the lead up to their exams and a little nervousness before a test is typical. It can help sharpen your mind and focus your attention. But exam anxiety, those feelings of worry and self-doubt can interfere with how well you do on the exam. So to talk about exam anxiety, we are joined by Emily Naris, the Advice Centre Manager and the VP of Wellbeing & Diversity.
