Erin Alladin’s new e-book “Gentle Gardening: A Guide for Uncooperative Bodies” is transformative, specifically covering the issues of gardening with chronic fatigue and the other complex disabilities that can accompany it, and reframing gardening as an accessible and fun activity. Ariel talks to Erin in this episode about her journey with gardening to where she is now, the book, a bit about gardening on Turtle Island as a settler, and tackling the gardener’s mindset and impostor syndrome that may come with it.

May 14 2026 Hunger Strike Day 9 Update
36:18|Heyo! Today marks the last day of my hunger strike because I have to start my medication for my circulation and I need to take it twice a day with a meal. No getting around that and since I've been light-headed a lot it is somewhat urgent. In this final dispatch, I go into my history with food with a few pitstops about my travels, plastic and other topics. I then record having my first piece of food in NINE DAYS!! And make a salad and spiel, then taste test.All of this is to draw attention to the May 2026 Hunger Strike Game Plan if you guess the riddles to find the quests.
