Spotty Little Thing On: Having Acne & Accepting Yourself As You Are

Season 1, Ep. 27

Isabella, known as Spotty Little Thing on Instagram dedicates her social channels to sharing her journey with acne. She opens up and creates a safe space for likeminded people to feel welcome and to seek advice. This episode is really insightful as Issy opens up about having acne from aged 9! She tells the story of how she has learnt to accept her acne and allow it to be a part of who she is.

I loved this conversation because Isabella has such a pure approach and shares so many aspects of her life from being comfortable in her own body and embracing herself exactly as she it.

I have never suffered with acne but I know that so many of you do so I wanted to invite Isabella onto the podcast to share an honest version of living and growing up with acne. For anyone feeling at a loss with their acne, Isabella shares her advice and tips for dealing and living with it right at the end of this episode and tells her story of how she is no longer defined by it.

Throughout this episode Lauren shares so many relatable mindset traits in how she’s managed to overcome challenges that most of us face as women growing up in a social first world being obsessed with self comparison and having to be more than we currently are.I wanted to record this episode because SO many of us struggle to break the cycle of self criticism, self sabotage and being perfect. Lauren is such a good example of someone who has really pushed herself to come into her own, to stop listening to what society tells her to be and focuses on who she wants to be and what she wants to achieve.I genuinely hope you find inspiration in listening to this and take away hope in that being you is all you ever need to be!What we cover Finding mindfulness The benefits of therapy Having an eating disorder / Overcoming bulimia Importance of being true to yourselfHow to find yourselfHow to be magnetic Practising gratitude Love Chlo xxCheck out Lauren on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/laurenrobson94/Lauren’s Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/fridayschild_studio?igsh=MTJjcjYwNjY4aG0waA==About Me:My mission is to help people everywhere become their BEST SELVES and become a version of themselves that they love being every single day.
