Food For Thought

Season 2025, Ep. 1

Join me and my special guest tomorrow at 8am-9am on 3wbc 94.1FM, Food For Thought, your feel good nutrition program.

For our first session back for the year we will be talking about seasons (late summer) and food. Foods to keep cool during summer and what to consider with Autumn approaching. We will discuss some of the health conditions that may arise within these seasons and share the Chinese Medicine philosophies on the topics too.

First a little about my special guest Kenny Hinterreiter.

My passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) was inspired by my upbringing, where TCM played a vital role in our family’s health. My grandmother, the matriarch of our family, took care of us all through her skill in YangShen (nourishing life), preparing herbal blends, advising on health, and instilling in me the importance of balance in living. My love for cooking and caring for others led her to teach me everything she could about food, herbs, and well-being—lessons that shaped who I am today.

You can find Kenny at Endeqvour College of Natural Health and at his clinic
