Blessed day, gorgeous Righties!!! Rachael and Caitlin are hot off the heels of Rachael's recent visit to Caitlin in LA and wow - did that trip take a turn!!! While Rachael may have come down to meet the baby, she instead became enmeshed in a twisted web of gun sales, identity theft, and the Miami branch of the FBI! And none of that is what made Rachael turn to Caitlin and say "are you okay?" (hint - it was just her children!!!!). The ladies also touch on tiny nice things they do to make people smile and/or give them panic attacks, Caitlin gives an update on her algorithm (think pencil statues and skateboard dancing), and things get very NSFW when they pose the age old question - "would YOU f*ck a basket?" We love you guys so so so much!!!!! Welcome to our July Book Club episode! This month we and Barack Obama prove we have exquisite taste, both choosing Kin by Tayari Jones. This was a perfect book, 5 stars, no notes, so so beautiful! It was heavy and heartbreaking and we loved it. You'd think the fact that we agree means we have nothing to talk about and somehow we still managed to go on and on for 30 minutes, you're welcome!In this episode we discuss the themes of friendship and motherhood, contemplate how anyone could still be anti-choice in this day and age, and unpack our own white privilege. We then veer off topic a bit, discussing Pompeii, Rome, the Odyssey and our "side quest" books from this month. We end by announcing our August choice which will be a fun, light palate cleanser (we hope?!)!!Enjoy!
