You're So Right

The Secret Life of Beekeepers

Hello from Carmel Valley Ranch! This week is a very special episode because your girls are TOGETHER (kinda) recording live from Caitlin's Hatchlorette Trip in Carmel Valley, CA!

The girls discuss how the drive together went, the latest Bravo drama, postpartum intimacy and more before a *quick* intermission to tend to some bees.

Then they return NEW WOMEN ready to escape modern life to follow Bailey the Beekeeper and his incredibly soft hands, leaving behind toxic, looksmaxing straight (or are they?) men behind. The girls also discuss their favorite way to decompress in the morning as children and dissect the recent (kinda) Bachelorette drama.

We love you so much, thank you for listening, rating and reviewing! If you're into dogs, check out the Youtube this week (or maybe don't???) for an extra convo!

Hello our beloved scrappy scamps!! Rachael and Caitlin are back on the mics for another week of delightfully unhinged chatting - taking you from Caitlin's STAND YOUR GROUND house rules to their shared concern of possibly psycopathic sons, to the time honored monitor jump scare when you think someone is kidnapping your child, but it's just you on a time delay. They also discuss Caitlin's 40th birthday theme, whether or not they'd rather their husbands have an affair with an oldie or a hottie, the peak era of MTV programing, and whatever nonsense Caitlin said that got Rachael to say "I don't know where this is going at any point." Oh the fun we have!!! Don't forget to rate and review, and please share with your friends!! We want to expand the secret sister sacred scamp circle!
  • July Book Club Discussion: Kin

    27:11|
Welcome to our July Book Club episode! This month we and Barack Obama prove we have exquisite taste, both choosing Kin by Tayari Jones. This was a perfect book, 5 stars, no notes, so so beautiful! It was heavy and heartbreaking and we loved it. You'd think the fact that we agree means we have nothing to talk about and somehow we still managed to go on and on for 30 minutes, you're welcome! In this episode we discuss the themes of friendship and motherhood, contemplate how anyone could still be anti-choice in this day and age, and unpack our own white privilege. We then veer off topic a bit, discussing Pompeii, Rome, the Odyssey and our "side quest" books from this month. We end by announcing our August choice which will be a fun, light palate cleanser (we hope?!)!!Enjoy! Love you and thanks so much for reading and hanging with us!!! As Always:Follow the Pod for Weekly Clips! (hoping to reach 10k some day!!!)Caitlin's Instagram (where the book club broadcast channel lives!)Rachael's InstagramWatch full and extended video eps on Youtube (or just subscribe for us!)

Happy Monday (or whichever day it is that you listen) and welcome back to YSR! This week Rachael is still recording in her childhood bedroom and you can see her mental state declining right before your eyes (especially if you watch on Youtube. Yikes).Anywho! We're discussing words we wish we could bring back, the future of medicine, and the dead internet theory (which would honestly bring us a lot of peace if true!).In parenting discourse this week we are reminiscing about how kids used to have to actually TALK to people and whether or not that's a good thing. We also debate how you know if you're truly "done" having babies and Caitlin tells us her number one fear when posting content of her baby!!Finally we give you a very intimate look into our respective "junk drawers" and end with some truly unhinged boomer behavior, send in from listeners. Thanks so much for listening, subscribing, rating, reviewing etc! We love you so much!Reminder our book for July is Kin and we will be discussing on a special episode later this week!AI DOCTOR TROLLING video we mentioned is here!!As Always:Follow the Pod for Weekly Clips! (as well as some truly elite stories content/ funny memes and videos etc!)Caitlin's Instagram (where the book club broadcast channel lives!)Rachael's InstagramWatch full and extended video eps on Youtube (or just subscribe for us!)

On this week's episode of the podcast alternatively titled "Caitlin Learns Things" we dive into explaining the East Coast Summer, Voicemails vs. Voice notes, and so many more of life's great mysteries! Caitlin explains the very unexpected Reddit thread bringing her unbridled joy (you could quite literally never guess), the girls discuss challenges of bottle refusal and debate breastfeeding in public, examine whether or not we should be collecting our children's teeth for crafting purposes, and share things they are very excited about reading and watching! Thank you so much for listening and rating/ reviewing/ subscribing etc! • Woody, Woods and Wood

    53:46|
Welcome back to another illuminating episode of YSR where Caitlin learns about "woods." We dive into lots of other nature-adjacent themes this week, including your hilarious summer camp mishaps! Before getting into listener submissions though, we recap our thoughts on the Taylor/ Travis MSG of it all, dissect WHY little kids must sleep the way they do (it's very creepy), and try to get to the bottom of why Toy Story 5 was so triggering to a very certain yet predictable demographic. We are also taking suggestions for what kind of ____ girl summer we are having! If you recall last year it was for the "ping" girls which resulted in Caitlin's baby. This year we're thinking, let's go lower stakes? Let us know your ideas! We love ya, thanks for listening and thanks SO MUCH for your support, the venn diagram of YSR listeners is truly elite. If you enjoy the pod but you've never left a review, just pop that on your to-do list this week and you'll be our new best friend. See ya next time!!!As a reminder for our July book, we're reading Kin! As Always:Follow the Pod for Weekly Clips! (be sure to watch stories too, they're so good!!!)Caitlin's Instagram (where the book club broadcast channel lives!)Rachael's InstagramWatch full and extended video eps on Youtube (or just subscribe for us!)

Welcome back to YSR and condolences to Mitch Mconnell's family, anyone who attended America's State Fair, and parents of three-year-olds everywhere. This week Rachael shares exactly what happened to leave her so concussed, then we're talking about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's maybe wedding at MSG, touching down on another hot NYC must-watch, and thinking about all the ways our bodies betray us postpartum!Rachael and Caitlin also discuss teen girls, camping, and crocodile encounters (yes, again). We love you so much for listening and PLEASE subscribe, rate and review if you enjoyed this episode!  As Always:Follow the Pod for Weekly Clips! (hoping to reach 10k some day!!!)Caitlin's Instagram (where the book club broadcast channel lives!)Rachael's InstagramWatch full and extended video eps on Youtube (or just subscribe for us!)
  • June Book Club Discussion: OPS + Lady Tremaine

    34:30|
Welcome to our June Book Club discussion where Caitlin graciously assigned a second book at the 11th hour but we love her for it! The girls discuss Our Perfect Storm which Rachael enjoyed and Caitlin did....not. The meat of the discussion is for Lady Tremaine which both loved and highly recommend, especially for the great motherhood + patriarchy themes. Be sure to join the book club Broadcast channel to vote on our next pick, which can be found on Caitlin's IG page right in the bio! @wilderbeginnings > YSR Nap Trap Book Club! • Sarong So Right

    52:11|
Hola and welcome back to You're So Right! This week Rachael talks about why vacationing with kids is a breeze but only if they are within a very specific age window. The girls also chat about their respective Reddit/ Tiktok algorithms, firefighters, and incredible media like Outer Banks and Ken Follett books. Then they get into a very *spirited* debate about pool chair etiquette, Caitlin shares why she feels such intense pressure this postpartum, and finally Rachael learns she may have in fact torn during child birth (who knew!!) At several points in this episode we have some... misunderstandings... (geographical and otherwise) that are too difficult to edit out of the listening experience, so we hope you find them like fun little easter eggs.Thank you so much for listening, we love you all!!!Follow the Pod for Weekly Clips! (hoping to reach 10k some day!!!)Caitlin's Instagram (where the book club broadcast channel lives!)Rachael's InstagramWatch full and extended video eps on Youtube (or just subscribe for us!)
  • A Cry for Help

    45:47|
Hellooooo and welcome back to You're So Right!! Last week we had some technical difficulties with the feed, so if you missed Caitlin's birth story ep, be sure to go back and listen!! This week though, we're getting away from baby talk by chatting about real grown-up things like weed crackers, tequila, Love Island and Off Campus! We also share our (confused?) take about the latest influencer drama and Caitlin discusses why Rachael's husband Marley *may* want to preform an exorcism. We wrap it up with some homework which is to learn more about New Hampshire. We love you New Englanders!!! If you loved this episode please remember to rate and leave us a review- it helps us grow the pod and reach new listeners every week. Plus we really love knowing people are listening and enjoying right along with us. xoxo  As Always: Follow the Pod for Weekly Clips! (hoping to reach 10k some day!!!) Caitlin's Instagram (where the book club broadcast channel lives!) Rachael's Instagram Watch full and extended video eps on Youtube (or just subscribe for us!)
