The Boondock Saints

It took me a while to edit this one because of life, jobs, and family, but here it is. The Boondock Saints. We really enjoyed going through this one and we hope you have as much fun with it as we did. Conor, Murphy, Smecker, and El Duce come together in a fun, violent ride that has as great a story about its making as it does in the script. Come on back to 1999 with us and explore Boston's fake underworld of do-gooders and mobsters with the Saints.

Thanks for listening and downloading. We're not regular anymore, we just put out shows when we can - we aim for once a month, but we'll see. If you like these shows and would like to see more, hit us up anywhere you download podcasts and leave comments, reviews, or suggestions. That'd be dope...like you.

If you could pick an American action hero, you really can't go wrong with Chuck Norris. This classic Cannon Film Group schlock fest is amazing, with guns, feet, jeep chases, rocket launchers, and they actually blow up a damn neighborhood. Like, a *real* neighborhood. Insane. Enjoy us laughing our way through this incredible film and we'll get on recording the next one for everyone soon. We mentioned at the end of our last pod what we were doing, but we called an audible and it has changed. You're going to love it.Please consider subscribing to our show and leaving us a review - those really help. Also, keep up that "being awesome" thing you've been doing. It works for you.
  • The Big Boss

    01:50:01|
Wrapping up our Bruce Lee box set, we have The Big Boss! Bruce's first film with Golden Harvest and the one that really broke him out in China as a superstar. We chat through the film discussing directors, actors, locations, occasional titties, orange chicken, and cut outs of bad guys in barn walls. Overall, super fun episode that you will enjoy enough to joyfully march around your neighborhood with your friends in a semi-conga line!If you like this type of shinanaginery, please consider leaving us a review - those really help! We have a Facebook page so if there's a movie you dig, let us know and we'll throw it in the rotation! Keep up that whole, "being awesome" thing you've got going on there.

Aaaaand we're back with another installment of the podcast, this time to go through 9 Deaths of the Ninja! Very few things about this film make sense, from the title, to the monkey in a diaper, to the little people fighting Spike Shinobi in a lobby...there's so much to talk about. Come join us for a foul-mouthed talk-through of this schlocky classic in the ninja genre! If you dig this, please subscribe to the show and give us a five-star review. That stuff helps us get in front of more folks on these here internet hills and valleys. You? You just keep on being awesome and killin' it.

Firstly, we're a bit late releasing this one, so apologies for that. We're just going to release shows about once a month when we can as schedules are a bit of a bitch. Speaking of bitches, this Seagal movie is trash. We honestly didn't even get through it because our lives were more important. Lots of laughs, lots of talking about shit other than what's happening in the movie because, for real, very little happens in this film (and it's a stretch to call it a "film"). Next up is a fun one just for us because we like it - Rustler's Rhapsody from 1985! Go watch it - I think it's on Amazon. Check it if you haven't already and we'll chat about that one in October! You rule for listening to our show, so if you could subscribe and tell some friends, that'd make you even MORE amazing. Hard to fathom, but here we are.Love you!
  • The Crow

    01:43:26|
When someone dies tragically, sometimes they get to come back to avenge the wrongs done to them, guided by a crow. This is the 1994 story of Eric Draven (yeah, a little heavy-handed, we know) and his fiancée Shelley who were murdered by thugs on Halloween. Ok, but can you imagine this as a musical starring Michael Jackson? No? Us neither. Check out the pod for how we reacted to *that* little tidbit of trivia.Think about subscribing to our show! It really helps us out. We publish once a month around the 5th. If you could leave us a stellar review, that'd be swell also. You're awesome.
  • Fight Club

    02:16:34|
First off, we shouldn't be talking about this movie. Secondly, for real, we *shouldn't* be talking about this movie. Both Chad and I love this film and were super excited to talk through it on the podcast - we hope you're as excited to go in-depth as us.If you dig the show, consider subscribing! Or, you know, tell a friend!
  • Black Dynamite

    01:11:42|
Ok, so the audio is fixed. If you downloaded this podcast and Chad's audio was super low and it was annoying as fuck, that should be better now. Apologies all around. That said....This is the greatest spoof/tribute movie of all time. You can disagree, but you're wrong.Come along and laugh your fool ass off with Chad and me for a while as we break down this amazing film. You won't regret it - quite the contrary, you'll wonder why the actual fuck you didn't hang out with us sooner.Hey, consider subscribing and leaving us a review!
  • Point Break

    01:31:12|
If you don't like this movie, we can't be friends.Still here? Ok, come along in to the world of Johnny Utah, former college high school football standout turned FBI agent going after bank robbers. Tremendous. As if that weren't enough, Patrick Swayze as Bodhi, surfer and leader of the Ex-Presidents? That enough to whet your whistle? No? Well then, let me toss fucking Gary Busey your way acting all Gary Busey on your ass.If you've never pointed a gun up into the air and fired whilst going, "auuuggghhhhhh!!", then this is the movie for you...or the podcast overview of that movie. You know what I mean. Please consider subscribing and leaving us a review!
