This week, Br Lim Geok Seng reminded us that Jesus is glorified through His sacrificial love on the Cross and gave a new commandment: to love others as He loves us. Not by our own strength, but by letting Christ love through us. Let us follow Him in active obedience to love others.

This week, Preacher Allan Ng honoured the faith-filled service of mothers, like Tabitha, whose good works reflected Christ’s love. True faith, as Luther said, is always active. When the Word is proclaimed, it bears fruit. Raised by Christ, may we serve with the same sacrificial love—especially in our homes and communities.

On 8 March 2025 at YCCL, Dr. Ho Yew Kee delivered an engaging and convicting message on “Becoming Good Financial Stewards.” He urged believers: recognize that God owns everything—manage money as His steward, not your master. Build a budget. Track your income and expenses. Spend within your means. Prepare for life’s uncertainties with wise insurance and savings. Avoid the trap of debt—don’t be a slave to lenders. Stop hoarding and start investing purposefully. Above all, store up treasures in heaven by giving, serving, and trusting God as your ultimate security and satisfaction.

This week, Preacher Allan Ng reminded us that failure can be a blessing when Jesus enters the scene. By the charcoal fire, the risen Christ restored Peter in love and calls us likewise. Like Peter, come as you are, receive forgiveness, and be restored. With His love, our lives—like the miraculous catch—become fruitful as we follow Him into resurrection life.

This week, Rev Dr William Chang shared how the risen Jesus turned fear into faith. Renewed by His peace, His wounds, and the Spirit’s breath, the disciples chose to fear God, not man. As Luther taught, “If we do not fear God, we cannot truly love Him.” Choose your fear—fear God, and live boldly in His Spirit’s power today!

The Resurrection For Real Life (John 20:1–18)On Easter Sunday, Preacher Allan Ng shared how the risen Jesus called Mary Magdalene by name—and calls each of us too. The bodily resurrection of Christ, witnessed and recorded in history, brings lasting hope to the grieving, guilty, and suffering. Believe, live uprightly, and share His resurrection life with a world in need.

Who Killed Jesus? (John 19:1–30)On Good Friday, Br Lim Geok Seng led us to reflect on Christ’s death—not as a tragedy, but as part of God’s redemptive blueprint. Jesus willingly bore our sins on the Cross, fulfilling the Scriptures to redeem all sinners. The right response? Repent, believe, and live wholeheartedly for Him.

Recounting the Blessings (John 13:1–17, 31b–35)On Maundy Thursday, Rev Dr William Chang reminded us to rejoice in His blood—Christ, our perfect sacrificial Lamb. Like the first Passover, His blood saves us from judgement and frees us from slavery to sin. As we take Holy Communion, remember His love, reflect deeply, and renew your commitment to God.

On this Palm Sunday, Rev Dr William Chang reflected on Christ’s humility and obedience, even unto death. As God’s image-bearers—His crown and joy—we’re created with souls, reason, and relationship for eternity. In response, live with gratitude, pursue unity, endure with joy, and reflect Christ in all things.
