MEN ON FILM "THIS IS NOT A TEST" MOVIE REVIEW | MAN ON FILM | XCELLENT WORLD NETWORK
Season 1, Ep. 33
•
MAN ON FILM!!!!
Episode: “This Is Not a Test” Tagline: Teen angst meets undead panic… and we have QUESTIONS.
Welcome back to MAN ON FILM! — the only review show brave enough to ask the real horror question:“Why are y’all always doing dumb shit on Day 1?”
This week, Mr Xcellence is joined by special guest star Mr. Caravaggio as we dig into This Is Not a Test — a zombie apocalypse flick that tries to be CW romance, end-of-the-world survival, and social commentary… all while the characters repeatedly audition for the role of “First to Die.”
Zombie Taxonomy Check
We go deep on what kind of zombie movie this thinks it is:
Viral zombies vs. demonic/spiritual zombies“Rules of infection” logicWhy The Last of Us gets its own category (spores ≠ bites)And why the best zombie stories aren’t about zombies at all…
Because the real obsession is:What happens when the rule of law collapses and humans become the apex predator again.
Despite the holes, there is something here:
Atmosphere Tension A few genuinely creepy moments Cast chemistry that suggests sequel potential A core idea that could evolve into something stronger
And the film doesn’t have the “15 seasons of baggage” problem that some zombie franchises drag behind them like a corpse in flip-flops.
Final Verdict
RATING: 3 / 6 Zombie Snaps (That’s “watchable with complaints,” a.k.a. “I’m mad but I’ll still talk about it for 20 minutes.”)
If you like zombie movies and can tolerate teen-drama logic, you’ll have fun — but if you’re the type who needs rules, realism, and smart survival behavior… you’re gonna be yelling at the screen like we were.
Because remember:In the apocalypse, natural selection is undefeated.
MANN ON FILM!!!! — because it’s always raining Man
Xcellent! WORLD NETWORK – Unfiltered truth-telling on life, culture, and cosmic alignment FROM THE BEST OPINIONIST IN THE WORLD

7. DOES IRAN EVEN HAVE A STRATEGY? | MAN ON POLITICS | XCELLENT WORLD NETWORK
20:17||Season 1, Ep. 7MAN ON POLITICS vs IRAN: “Big Energy, Bad Strategy, and Who’s Actually in Charge?”When geopolitics turns into a group chat fight… and everyone hits “reply all.”Welcome back to MAN ON POLITICS — where we talk global power moves, bad decisions, oil prices, and why sometimes the loudest person in the room is already losing. This week?IRAN 🇮🇷 And before you clutch pearls — yes, it’s serious.Yes, people are dying.Yes, this matters. But if we don’t laugh a little while unpacking the chaos, we’re all going to need therapy and a bunker. The Situation (Or: “What Exactly Is The Plan?”)Here’s the question I keep asking:If you’re already getting outmatched by two major powers…Why escalate? Why expand the battlefield? Why poke neighboring countries who were just minding their business, trying to be the Switzerland of the region?Because once you start bombing beyond your primary opponent, you don’t shrink the war — you multiply it.That’s not strategy. That’s ego. The Power DynamicLet’s be honest. This is a heavyweight fight. And when heavyweights start swinging, smaller players don’t get stronger by yelling louder. You adapt. You pivot. You recalibrate. But doubling down publicly?Making defiant speeches while your infrastructure is getting hit? That’s not guerrilla warfare. That’s performative. And in geopolitics, performance without leverage is dangerous. The Oil & The OpticsOil prices spiking.Markets reacting.Global nerves tightening.Meanwhile, leadership statements are still coming out like:“We’re stronger than ever.”Okay… but are you?Because when hierarchy gets reshuffled mid-conflict and no one seems certain who’s fully in charge, that’s not strength — that’s instability. And instability makes everyone nervous. The Human Part (Because That’s What Matters)Strip away ideology.Strip away religion.Strip away political chest-beating.Regular people just want:SafetyStabilityA chance to build somethingNot to get bombed at 3AMThere are incredible Iranian people. Incredible Israelis. Incredible Americans. Incredible Arabs. This isn’t about hating people. It’s about questioning leadership calculus.Because lives aren’t chess pieces. The Bigger QuestionAt what point do we try something different? If decades of proxy escalation, retaliation cycles, and ideological standoffs haven’t worked…Maybe the move isn’t “go harder.”Maybe it’s:Rethink the doctrine.Reassess the posture.Stop mistaking pride for power.Because the world is 2026.This isn’t 1826. Final Word From MannThis episode isn’t about cheering for one side. It’s about asking:What’s the endgame?Because if your strategy leads to:More enemiesMore destructionMore instabilityMore global involvement… then maybe it’s not strategy.Maybe it’s stubbornness. And stubbornness in geopolitics costs lives.MANN ON POLITICSWhere we mix serious analysis with sharp humor —Because sometimes the only way to survive the headlines…is to talk about them honestly.
34. SCREAM 7 : We didn’t watch Scream… We "SCREAMED" at it. ☠️| MEN ON FILM | XCELLENT WORLD NETWORK
16:40||Season 1, Ep. 34MAN ON FILM vs SCREAM 7REVIEW BOTTOM LINE: We didn’t watch Scream… We "SCREAMED" at it. Yeah, I screamed. At the screen. At the script. At Ghostface. At the studio executives. At Gail Weathers’ lighting team.Let’s begin. The Premise (And The Problem)They brought somebody back. And then didn’t bring them back. And then kind of brought them back. You know what? If you know, you know. That’s enough. But here’s the thing — if you’re gonna resurrect chaos, you better commit.Give it a three-picture deal. And for a moment? We had it.After Six movies of Ghostface being harder to kill than a Fast & Furious character, did this latest return arrive in a fun way?and the classic members of the cast.....Bored. Including Nev Campbell. And don’t get me started on Gail. Gail Weathers (Or Her Weathered Clone)I kept asking in the theater:“Who is that?”They kept saying: “That’s Gail.”I said: “No it’s not.”Respectfully…Now let’s discuss the real horror.Sidney Prescott survived SIX movies.SIX. and Her daughter had zero survival instincts. No Rambette energy. No “my mom survived 60 stabbings so I trained in Muay Thai at 7” vibes.Nothing.We was in the theater yelling:“Hit center mass! TWO shots! CLACK-CLACK!”Nope.Angst. Confusion. Bad decisions. Logic? Never Met Her.The town shuts down. There’s an active killer. And the main character says:“You know what we should do?Hang out. Together. In public.”That’s not bravery. That’s accessory charges. What Actually WorkedCredit where credit is due:The beer tap kill? Final ScoreWe’re giving it: 65%That’s:“I had fun.....yelling.”“I was mad....but entertained.”“Stop making these for us to see unless you want am equally insanely DEFT & ASTUTE & ACCURATE REVIEW.” Final Thoughts from Tha ManIf you do Scream 8:Kill Gail early.Train BABY PRESCOTT.Commit to ScarFACE as a real menace.Or rename it STAB and reboot the madness!Because at this point?I didn’t watch Scream.I screamed at Scream.MAN ON FILM!!!!Because it’s always raining Man!

30. “Iron Lung:Blood Oceans, Submarine Screams & Gamer Dreams | MAN ON FILM | Xcellent WORLD NETWORK
10:21||Season 1, Ep. 30“Iron Lung: Lo-Fi Horror, High-Stakes Bloodbath”Blood Oceans, Submarine Screams & Gamer DreamsSummaryIn this deep dive (pun intended), we surface after watching Iron Lung—the claustrophobic horror flick adapted from the cult indie game. Directed by YouTube OG Mark Fischbach (Markiplier), this post-apocalyptic tale tosses a convicted felon into a rusty-ass submarine and submerges him in a literal sea of blood. We break down how Iron Lung punches above its $3M budget weight class, debate the logic of lunar blood oceans, and ask the big question: why isn’t Method Man in this?! The lo-fi tension hits, the visuals grind, and the horror builds—but does the story deliver, or does it drown in its own mystery?Plus, we pitch our sequel (Iron Lungs 2: Smoke Break) starring Redman, Dave Chappelle, and a trans baddie. Yes, for real. Don’t miss this one—it’s man, it’s film, it’s always raining. Hosted by The Man on Film. Explicit language. Listener discretion advised.
