Anastacia on singing with Celine Dion, being on The Masked Singer, and her experience of menopause as a breast cancer survivor

Joining us this week is a phenomenal singer-songwriter with one of the most recognisable voices in pop music. It’s noughties icon Anastacia!

Anastacia joins Kate following the release of her latest album, “Our Songs,” a unique project that pays homage to the music she fell in love with while in Germany. Together, they chart her life all the way from childhood - where you would have found her and her sister performing some somewhat inappropriate songs from the musical Hair in the living room - to unforgettable moments like performing at Elton John’s wedding and sharing the stage with Celine Dion for an unexpected rendition of ACDC.

Beyond the glitz and glamour of the spotlight, Anastacia emerges as a beacon of strength and resilience. She candidly shares her journey, from confronting breast cancer and undergoing a double mastectomy to navigating the challenges of menopause as a breast cancer survivor.

From breaking stigmas to finding strength in vulnerability, these stories are the epitome of resilience.First, psychotherapist Owen O’Kane reflects on his deeply personal experiences growing up in Northern Ireland during the Troubles as a gay Irish Catholic man and how opening up to a therapist - an Irish Catholic nun, no less - helped him break free from what he calls the "holy trinity of shame." Next, SAS star Jason Fox shares his transformation from being sceptical of therapy to finding life-changing support through clinical psychology, thanks to the encouragement of a boss during one of his darkest periods. Finally, chart-topping singer Tom Grennan reveals how embracing fitness has been a game-changer for his mental health, giving him not just a new outlook but also a supportive gym community that feels like family. We hope this episode inspires you to start your own conversations. • Gino D’Acampo on running an empire, being underestimated, and having no regrets

    59:01|
Joining us today is a man working in rarefied TV air - a presenter, chef, author and personality who captures the public’s attention like few else. It’s the legendary Gino D’Acampo!Gino dials in for a chat about living life to its absolute fullest, from his years wowing diners and entertaining the public from behind stovetops across the world, to inadvertently stumbling in on orgies and changing his middle name to “Sheffield” as part of a chaotic stint on Celebrity Juice. But it’s fair to say that Gino is a more layered, thoughtful man than the public’s perception of him might suggest. Because behind the outlandish court jester everyone has come to love is a savvy businessman, a nurturing father and a philosophical thinker who doesn’t care what show you’re offering or how big the paycheque is - if it encroaches on his principles (or his Sardinian holiday), he’s not interested.Get yourself a copy of Gino's new air fryer cookbook right here!
