Joining us today is a broadcaster who’s been a staple in millions of living rooms for over a decade. She went from an unknown Welsh presenter to landing one of the most coveted jobs in TV and she’s been lighting up our screens ever since. It’s the brilliant Alex Jones!
In this episode, Alex takes us through her extraordinary journey, from growing up in Wales with dreams of working in children’s TV to a life-changing phone call that led to her landing The One Show. She reflects on the wild twists of her career, including blagging her way into a job on a ranch in Arizona for a Magnificent Seven remake — despite being terrified of horses — sitting her university finals in Magaluf with Davina McCall as her invigilator and navigating the unpredictable world of live TV.
Beyond the cameras, Alex also opens up about juggling family life with a demanding career, her experience of perimenopause and why she thrives in chaos!
