In this first episode, this week, we were allowed into the Red Roses camp & caught up with one of the pod's own, captain Sarah Hunter but also coach Simon Middleton, potential debutant Connie Powell & the experienced Vicki Cornborough. The players & coach speak at length about the challenges facing them over the competition, with special focus on Scotland this weekend. But also about the start of this year, this campaign signalling the beginning of a World Cup year & the potential this group has to grow. "Sunter" also chat about her first 6 Nations, 15 tournaments ago!! From Italy Giada Franco, the all-action flanker, joins the guys from Parma to take us into the Italy camp; how their preparations have been going, the impact of the World Cup qualifiers late last year & the treat of France in round 1. Burf & Johnnie cover the France squad, the impact of the injuries they have & what to expect from them especially with two homes games to start their campaign. Also, just what a threat they pose to the favourite's England & just how important is the mental battle is, in the 6 Nations but also as they are in the same World Cup pool later this year! Enjoy!
