Women Are Mad

S3 E13 Philippa Perry on admin, automobiles and the authority gap

Season 3, Ep. 13

What makes psychotherapist and writer Philippa Perry really mad? Online admin, self-service check outs and you'd better not call her 'feisty'.

With a unique blend of acerbic wit and radical empathy, Philippa brings fascinating insight to the many different ways the patriarchy messes with our sanity. From men telling us we're not feeling what we're feeling to being judged for the way we dress (asking for it!) and the fact that we will NEVER be taken as seriously as a man...especially if we're driving a car.

About our guest:

Philippa Perry is a national treasure. This psychotherapist, writer, broadcaster and agony aunt has put the nation (nay the world) on the couch. Her best-selling book 'The Book You Wish Your Parents Had Read', has sold more than 1.3 million copies worldwide. She has presented several TV documentaries and her latest publication is ‘The Book You Want Everyone You Love To Read.’ She is an agony aunt for both Red Magazine and The Observer serving up regular doses of warmth and wisdom in answer to the public's conundrums.
