Back to back wins keeps Sunderland right in the mix for promotion. Portsmouth made it tough and it was a real scrappy affair but The Lads could and should have won by more. Stephen and Gareth discuss. 

Eleanor McCabe is joined by Gareth Barker for some post-game reaction as Sunderland got their 2025 off to a winning start with victory over Sheffield United, a win which puts the Black Cats just two points from the automatic promotion places.

What should have been four points became one, thanks to conceding two last minute goals, at Blackburn and Stoke respectively. Now we have a big one at home to Sheffield United. Stephen, Rick and Eleanor also discuss what needs doing in the January window.
