Nikon Buckmasters Side Focus 4.5-14x40mm Riflescope Review

Season 1, Ep. 1

Our rifle scope reviews will include several scopes from the Nikon Buckmasters line of rifle scopes.

The lenses are cut and polished the same as on Winchester ones. After this, they are coated with several layers of anti-reflective compounds. These compounds improve the overall quality of the image, provide flare-free viewing, improve contrast so the game can be seen easier and boost the transmission of light.

Buckmasters has continued to be one of Nikon’s most successful lines of riflescopes after a decade on the market. This speaks volumes about the level of accuracy and quality craftsmanship that these scopes contain. Hunters everywhere know that when they have a Buckmasters scope attached to their rifle, they will get the shot that they need to take down their target, even in adverse weather and light conditions.

You can stalk your game no matter if it is dawn or dusk. This is because the light transmission on this scope is boosted all the way to 92 percent as a result of the BrightView multicoating on the optics. 1/4-MOA reticle adjustments are no problem with the hand-turn control. This allows any in-the-field adjustments and sight-ins to be precise every time, just like you need them to be. Nikon’s BDC reticle is sheer perfection. One of the best features is Side Focus adjustment. This enables compensation for parallax. This reduces the length, while also making all adjustments inconspicuous, easy and quick.
