Wilding the Lamb

Continuing the reading of Come Follow Me with Christian and Jeff with the story of Alma and Amulek. We discuss the strength of these 2 men and their Faith in God as they strive to spread the Gospel to the people of Nephi. How similar we are to the Nephites, as thousands of years separate us, we aren't so far away.

In this raw episode of Wilding the Lamb Christian and Jeff discuss prayer. Why we sometimes have a hard time with prayer and a few reasons why God gives us trials and hard things. Following the example of Enos we can become better followers of Jesus Christ and hopefully one day, like Enos, "our faith can become unshaken in Christ."

Christian and Jeff tackle Jacob 5, 6 and 7. The Allegory of the Olive Tree, and Jacob's battle of wits with Sherem. We discuss the Olive Tree as ourselves rather than the Gentiles and there are some interesting tid-bits that come out of that conversation. We discuss addiction and how that's a type of idol worship as we give into those temptations, and we finish up by baring testimony of Jacob and his lasting impact on us moving forward. He was Steadfast Warrior for God, and we can look to him for inspiration in our own lives to better ourselves and our families.

Christian and Jeff discuss Easter what it means to both of us and how we can make small changes during the Week from Palm Sunday to Resurrection Sunday to enhance our observance of Easter for the betterment of our children, friends and family. Christ gave us the ultimate example of Sacrifice and by following his example we too can become Christlike and be a light to others in our realm of influence.
